Cloud Factory

Cloud Factory is currently in production and will be released in 2024

Cloud Factory is a short documentary video about the phenomena of hundreds of people growing up in a rural Washington town and believing their local oil refinery was instead a fairy city, a cloud factory, or Disneyland. This video is a project by Parkeology lead artist Kate Clark and PNW filmmakers Corin Noronha and Will McCracken.

This 10-15 minute video featuring oral histories with locals to Anacortes, WA, won't pose any conclusions about the very real threats of living near a crude oil processing site. Instead, Cloud Factory will touch on how oil refineries not only affect the air we breathe and the water we drink but how their presence enters into our dream worlds.
